The quote form is the only place on this site where you give us your details. This page says what it collects, what we do with it, and how to have it deleted.
What the quote form collects
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, the property’s location or town, and the type of property, if you choose to give them.
- The service you’re asking about, and your message.
The email that brings your request to us also notes the time it arrived and the country your connection came from, as reported by Cloudflare.
Why
Only to answer your request: to get in touch with you, talk through the work, and quote for it if you want us to.
How it reaches us
The site emails your request to Sapient Dynamics, the company that runs this website and handles enquiries for Schaad Landscape Services, and it is passed on to Schaad. It isn’t saved to a database.
Spam protection
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. To do that it looks at signals from your browser and connection, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). Your IP address is also used to limit how many requests one connection can send in a minute. Our code doesn’t save it, though Cloudflare’s request logs, described below, may include it.
Logs
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps request logs for a few days to run and protect it; they may include your IP address and approximate location. Our own code logs only the outcome of each request (sent, refused as spam, or failed) and which service it was about. It does not write your name, contact details or message to its logs.
Cookies and analytics
We don’t use cookies for tracking or analytics, and the site runs no analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.
Your browser remembers, for the length of your visit, that you have already seen the opening animation. That note stays in your browser’s session storage and is never sent to us.
Sharing
We don’t sell your details or share them with anyone other than as described on this page.
